To the Editor:
We followed with interest that a winery might be coming to Upper Township. What a novel idea! It would bring jobs, visitors, and added income to the community.
Yet because of politics, the project is stalled. Does the public know that our taxes are being used to fight the project? Why is this?
One of the main reasons listed against the project was additional traffic to the Beesley’s Point area. What will traffic be like when the “supposed” hotel and marina (at the old B.L. England plant) are under construction?
Since the property is designated farmland, maybe the owners should consider a pig farm?
