To the Editor:
U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-2nd) voted against helping the unemployed workers in his district, with the lifeline unemployment payment of $600. In May, he voted no on the $600 extension.
The truth is that Van Drew, even as a state senator, never voted yes on the annual state budget that often acted as a safety net to the people of his district. Van Drew seems to have no tolerance for those who lost their jobs or need assistance.
Van Drew clearly has the wrong priorities.
