Use White Vinegar Instead of Pesticides

By Adeline White, Villas

To the Editor:
I have been reading all about the concern over the use of pesticides.
I have been using white vinegar to kill weeds, dandelions, ivy, etc., for a while now and it really does work. Put a gallon of white vinegar into a gallon sprayer. Do not add water. You have to be careful. It will also kill grass and flowers.
The best part is if you have a dog or cat, it will not hurt them if ingested. Pesticide is bad because animals can absorb it through their paws.
Give the vinegar a try. Enjoy a safe summer and God bless everyone.
