To the Editor:
I am a recently discharged patient from Cape Regional Medical Center. I live on the second floor of our condo and had a very difficult time getting up the stairs when I got home. I was given two doctor’s appointments and worried how I would be able to keep them with the stairs.
My son-in-law called the North Wildwood Fire Department. They came with a chair, took me down the stairs, and when my appointments were done, they told me to call them and they would take me back upstairs. What a God send. They were kind, courteous and so helpful. A big thank you to them.
