Successful Christmas Food Drive

By John Vollrath, Court House

To the Editor:
On Dec. 2, post offices throughout Cape May County held our annual food drive. The generosity of the food donations collected from our postal customers throughout Cape May County will help replenish the food banks in our county.
We are so grateful for all their generosity to have such giving customers. For just “one day,” a whole community joins with the post offices to help people in need; a true Christmas blessing!
Thanks to all the city and rural mail carriers, postal clerks, maintenance personnel, supervisors, postmasters, and all the volunteers involved for all their hard work collecting and transporting the donated food. Their enormous efforts this one day will not go unnoticed.
We thank all who helped or did whatever they could to help the Annual Postal Holiday Food Drive be again very successful.
A blessed holiday season to all our postal customers, postal employees, and volunteers.
