Dear Herald;
We have a vacation home in Rio Grande. We love the shore area and spend alot of time here. On October 1st it was a beautiful Fall day and we decided to take a ride to the area of the Lighthouse in Cape May. We had a wonderful day. It was not until we arrived home a few hours later, my husband realized his wallet was missing!! We were so upset thinking of all the things in the wallet that would need to be replaced or credit cards that would need to be cancelled. We retraced our steps and realized the wallet may have fallen out in the bathroom at the lighthouse but by this time it was dark and the lighthouse was closed. My husband tried to calm my worry by saying since we were in a resort area with mostly families, he felt there may be a chance someone turned it in. Sure enough, the next morning when my husband arrived at the lighthouse visitors center office his wallet was there!! We want to thank the person who handed it in. Your honesty is so greatly appreciated. It truly renews our faith in the fact that there are still good, caring people in this world! Thank you and May God Bless you.
