Praise for Atlantic Cape’s Course Offerings

Rusty Miller

By Rusty Miller for Cape Issues

Commendation and public attention are in order for our Atlantic Cape Community College, and their recent program offerings publication regarding “Workforce Development, Certifications, Professional and Community Education” for spring 2020 (January-August).
A vibrant array of employment-related courses in Business/Career Training, Computer Technology, Casino/Gaming Training, Culinary Arts, Retail, Customer Service/Hospitality, Real Estate, Entrepreneurship and Technical Area Certifications are being offered at one or more of their three campus locations.
Most offerings are in classroom settings, but some are online career training programs, which creates a more flexible scheduling option for the educational consumer.
Also featured are some avocational personal enhancement community education programs in Music, Fine Arts, Health/Nutrition, and Language, including a Kids College, all that will be sure to spark that inquisitive interest in individuals from kids through senior citizens.
Atlantic Cape should be applauded for being a major partner in the fabric of workforce development in Atlantic and Cape May counties, as the counties move forward in their planning for the “Soaring 20s” with future community, workforce and economic development positioned on the “front burner” of anticipated advancement.
