The Top Ten Book Club held its final event of the year with their annual dinner at Marie’s Seafood Restaurant.
Following a tradition started a few years ago, the ladies showed up in hats in honor of “Butch” Romano, the owner.
The club will meet again in September.
Over the eight years since the club was formed, the members have read more than 60 books, including best sellers, classics, biographies, and mysteries.
The members also come dressed as characters in the books and keep photo albums with all the books and costumes.
The members include Chrissie Ternosky, Irene Jameson, Trish Gallagher, Loretta Henry, Fran Custer, Penelope Yorke, Debbie Jackson, Founder and Chairwoman Michelle TenBrook, Linda Layton, Jennifer Shrader, and Cathy Fagan.
