SEAVILLE – A Dennis Township man died about a week after his vehicle struck a truck parked along Route 9, State Police reported.
Fred McKinnon, 76, of Ocean View, was driving south on Route 9 shortly after noon on Friday, Jan. 10, State Police said. At around milepost 20.2, McKinnon’s Jeep Gladiator struck an unoccupied Ford truck that was parked on the right shoulder, partially extended into the southbound lane.
The Jeep struck the rear of the truck and overturned, police said, adding that on Friday, Jan. 17, McKinnon died of his injuries.
