To the Editor:
I’m tired of hearing Trump allies spreading fantasies he has an elected mandate. So says his press secretary, who along with White House aide Miller tries to sow Trump fantasy dust.
The numbers say something else. There are 161 million eligible voters; 90 million didn’t vote. Of those voting, Harris got 48.3% and Trump got 49.8%. Not even 50%.
That’s not a mandate, that is a plurality. Where is the mandate, Trump? The only mandate shown by the last election is that the voting public thinks both party candidates stink.
