Thanks to whoever left us a copy of the program for the May 5 Woodbine Elementary School Talent Show.
Brittany Jacobs and Catherine Wing led off with a welcome and flag salute.
T’yonna Edmonds sang Mary J. Blige’s “Be Without You.”
Denis Serrano and Krystal Nieves recited a poem of remembrance.
T’yonna returned with Destiny’s Child’s “Hey Ladies.”
Katelyn White, Bryanna Wheeler, Alexis Murrau, and Denise Serrano danced to “One, Two Step.”
Mercedes Price, Tatiana Broughton, T’yonna Edmonds, and Decinique Brown danced to “So What.”
Zamary Lopez, Alexis Murray, Bryanna Wheeler, Denise Serrano, and Katelyn White sang and danced to “We’re All in This Together.”
Brittany and Catherine closed with thank yous.
The Talent Show program referred to the above all “Featured Performances”; if anyone knows of any additional performers not noted on the playbill, please let me know.

Woodbine Borough Council meets tomorrow at 8 p.m.
Woodbine Municipal Court will be held May 22 at 2 p.m.
Woodbine Municipal Utilities Authority meets May 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Softball minors: today at Dennis at 6 p.m., tomorrow at Middle 2 at 6 p.m., Friday against Middle 1, here at 6 p.m.
Baseball Minors: today Sea Isle, here, at 6 p.m., Friday against Middle (RIO), here at 6 p.m., May 22 against Dennis (Vecere) at 6 p.m.
Baseball Majors: tomorrow against Sea Isle at 6 p.m., May 23 against Dennis Pirates, here at 6 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Woodbine will began holding church services at 6 p.m. on Saturday evenings as of May 13.

St. Casimir’s Church began its summer schedule the weekend of May 13 and 14:
Saturday evening: 4 p.m. at Bishop McHugh School. 5:30 p.m. at St. Casimir Church.
Sunday morning: 7:30 and 9 a.m. at St. Casimir Church. 10 a.m. at Bishop McHugh School. 10:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church. Meet at noon in St. Casimir’s for Spanish service.
St. Casimir Church is located at 304 Clay Street in Woodbine. St. Elizabeth is located on Rt. 47 in Goshen.
Bishop McHugh School is located at 2221 Rt. 9 South, Ocean View.
This schedule is in effect until the weekend of Sept. 16-17.

Congratulations to the children who made First Communion on April 29 at St. Casimir’s.
 Thalia Torano-Aviles, Erin Byerly, Paul Edmunds, Robert Edmunds II, Stephanie Elbertson, Thomas Garvey, Daniel Gilroy, Nicholas Lazaro.
Also Yarel Lopez, Patrick Melady, Jr., Matthew McHale, Enrique Gaytan, Emily Scherer, Nicholas Stella, Megan Thomson, Nicholas Ryan Schalek.
Additionally, Kyle Aprill, Courtney Hassis, Ryan Riccioni, Jonathan Riccioni, and Michael Riccioni received their First Communion at the Easter Vigil Mass.

The annual Children’s Garden Ceremony at WES will be May 25 at 10:30 a.m.
This ceremony is held each year to remember all the children our community has lost, but not forgotten.
The ceremony will be followed by the planting of flowers by WES students.
All are invited to take part in this commemoration.
