Cape Assist is looking for families to participate in its Strengthening Families program.
The program is for families with children ages six to 11, with childcare provided for younger siblings.
Participants will meet for 14 Thursdays at Woodbine Elementary School, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The evenings include fun learning classes and activities for both parents and children, preceded by dinner.
No cost to the families. Even dinner is free.
The program is open to all families in Cape May County, no income requirements.
Help your children prepare for the teen years, to avoid problems with drugs and alcohol, and strengthen family communications.
The children will learn to handle frustration, resist peer pressure, appreciate parent/caregivers, and get along with other family members.
Call Stephanie Fowler at 522-5960.
***
Woodbine Elementary School will be closed March 31 for a teacher in-service.

Aprille, come she will – on Saturday.
Which is also Monsy’s birthday, our neighbor Amy Jill’s, and still celebrated as “Bogie Discovery Day.”
Sunday is our daughter and her hubby’s second anniversary.
We’ll keep the rude jokes private this year, and spare her the need to rant about mothers with columns, despite the revelations of her own columnist days.
