COURT HOUSE – Due to the severe weather conditions Dec. 16, the Cape May County Zoo will open at noon Dec. 17 to allow time to clean up any debris caused by the storm.

According to a release, the two-hour delay will only impact the zoo; the county parks are clear and open to the public. The animals were secured during the storm, per safety protocols, and are fine. Park and zoo staff are clearing branches and ensuring habitats are safe and secure in the zoo area.
