Wildwood through the ages

By On Deck Staff

A display of the Wildwoods, past and present, will be available in the lobby of the Cape May County Administration building during the month of July.
The Wildwood Historical Society, responsible for the display, has showcased various places like the beach in 1903, the boardwalk on Memorial Day in 1943, the Rainbow Club, Pacific Avenue in 1945, Zaberers’ Restaurant, the Tram Car, and Aqua Circus in the 1970s, amusement rides of the 40s, Hunt’s Casino movie theater, and the Caribbean Motel, a unique Doo Wop design of the 50s—and still in existence.
