'Microearthquake' Hits S. Jersey

COURT HOUSE – A 1.6-magnitude earthquake hit South Jersey at 12:28 a.m. June 21, according to media reports.
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported the earthquake occurred near Leisuretowne in Burlington County.
Earthquakes with a magnitude under 2.0, considered to be “microearthquakes,” are not typically felt beyond a few miles from their origin.
The last earthquake to rattle the region, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake centered in Delaware, occurred Nov. 30, 2017.
