Girl Scouts Collect for Survivors

By Herald Staff

ERMA – On Halloween, when children from around the country were out trick-or-treating, some of the girls from troop 45296 spent their time going door to door asking for donations.
The girls thought that the supplies that they were not using could now go to people who needed them. In their girl scout vests they knocked on doors and explained that they knew Halloween was being celebrated on a different day and told people what they wanted to do.
They filled a car and a half with donations to take to the Pleasantville shelters. Erin L., Sophia M., and Tandi A. practiced the girl scout promise selflessly!
