County Snowfall Averages 4.9 inches.

MOUNT HOLLY— The National Weather Service is reporting unofficial snowfall totals taken during the nine hours prior to 4:45 a.m. on Feb. 11. Reports are from observers and Skywarn spotters.
Cape May: 7.1 inches as of 11:50 p.m. 2.10/10
Swainton: 6 inches as of 12:05 a.m., 2/11/10
Court House: 5.5 inches as of 10:40 p,m,, 2/10/10
Green Creek: 5.5 inches as of 10:40 p.m., 2/10/10
North Cape May: 3.8 inches as of 10:40 p.m., 2/10/10
Beesley’s Point: 3 inches as of 10:40 p.m., 2.10/10
Ocean City: 3 inches as of 10:40 p.m., 2/10/10
Additional snowfall totals from NJ Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network,
a group of volunteers who take daily observations and report them via the internet courtesy of State Climatologist Dr. David A. Robinson:
Woodbine 5.1 inches
Middle Twp 4.4 inches
Woodbine 0.8 inches
Sea Isle City 1.4 inches
Stone Harbor 2 inches
Wildwood Crest 1.3 inches.
Two day snowfall totals: Woodbine: 9 inches, Sea Isle City: 5 inches, Upper Township: 2 inches.
Atlantic City has received 49 inches of snow this winter, the highest amount of snowfall recorded since weather records have been kept. Normal annual snowfall averages 14 inches.
The forecast is calling for a 30 percent chance of snow Sunday night with a 50 percent chance of snow on Monday: President’s Day. Chance of snow Monday night is 30 percent.
