Vet Sues County Over Service Dog at Zoo

COURT HOUSE – A disabled veteran and his family filed a lawsuit against Cape May County, Cape May County’s Sheriff’s Department, and other defendants Aug. 17, claiming they were harassed for having a service dog while visiting Cape May County Zoo, NJ.com reported.
Jonathan and Jacqueline Hinker, of North Cape May, allege that zoo employees and sheriff department officers harassed, bullied, and intimidated them Aug. 20, 2016, and then told them to leave the zoo, according to the suit.
