Removal of the old Beesley's Point Bridge is nearly complete after this blast Nov. 18 demolished what was left of the foundation.

BEESLEYS POINT – New Jersey Turnpike Authority worked to demolish what was left of the old Beesley’s Point Bridge’s foundation in a blast Nov. 18, Shore News Today reports
The bridge is being removed as part of the $130 million contract to build a new southbound Garden State Parkway bridge over the Great Egg Harbor Bay, which opened to traffic in August.
