OCEAN CITY – The eastbound lanes of Ninth Street will be closed from West Avenue to Central Avenue in Ocean City for an emergency repair to the storm drainage system starting at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12.
Drivers traveling cross-town should plan to use 8th Street or 10th Street to avoid the construction zone near the intersection of 9th Street and Asbury Avenue.
Asbury Avenue will remain open to north-south traffic with no turns eastbound onto Ninth Street.
The detours will remain in place until the drainage system and roadway can be fully repaired.
