By Press Release

VILLAS – For the week beginning May 21 through May 25, the contractor performing work on the Bayshore Road project in Villas will be completing the installation of curbs, sidewalks, and gutters. Restoration of disturbed areas behind the curb will also be ongoing.
Traffic will be maintained using a lane shift. Traffic in both the northbound and southbound lanes will be open, however, there may be an occasional lane shift in work zones. Motorists are urged to use caution if crossing over the center line of Bayshore Road, since the newly paved northbound lane has an intermediate paving surface that is currently slightly lower than the existing southbound paving surface. This is a temporary condition that will not exist once the final paving of Bayshore Road has been completed.
Motorists are also urged to use caution when driving through the construction zone for their safety and for the safety of the workers.
