Talent show reschedule in Ocean City

By On Deck Staff

The Ocean City Talent Competition, featuring special entertainment between competitive categories, has been rescheduled to Sat., March 21 at 6 p.m.
Emcee John Walton has announced that 4-year old balladeer, Dylan Dwyer, will emulate his hero Jimmy Buffet.
Dywer caused a sensation two years ago with his rendering of Wild Rover, an Irish folk song, during the Ocean City Fine Art League’s Irish Night. He was just two at that time.
Other non-competitive performers include new talent from the Nancy Fox Studios, Elvis performer Ted Prior, talented pianist David Polemeque, and Frank McCall with Irish tunes.
Competitive categories include solo vocalist, singer song/writer, dance, instrumentalists, performance art, and others. Contestants should bring CDs for accompaniment. Entry fee is $10.
The event is sponsored by the Ocean City Fine Arts League in cooperation with the City.
It will be held at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. Admission to the show directed by Rob Swift, is $10 a person, $5 for per person for families of four or more.
