Suds celebrated in Atlantic City

Expect some 75 international brewers Saturday and Sunday March 21-22 at “The Celebration of the Suds: Atlantic City Beer Festival 2009.”
Held at the Atlantic City Convention Center, more than the 12,500 that attended the last year’s festival are expected to visit this year.
In addition to sampling the finest lagers and ales, the 2009 event will feature food, live music, entertainment, and guest speakers.
The Atlantic City Beer Festival Judges event will be held Friday March 20 at Harrah’s Resort (limited to 200 tickets).
The Festival Starts Saturday March 21 with Session #1 from noon to 4 p.m. (Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with advanced tickets) Session# 2 goes from 6-10 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m. with advanced ticket).
Sunday March 22 hours are 1-5 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m. with advanced ticket).
You must be 21 with valid ID to attend. Designated driver tickets available.
Michelob Brewing Co., one of the festival’s sponsors, will be serving a variety of beers on draught. Brewmasters will be on-hand to talk to attendees and answer questions about the beers and brewing process.
