By Press Release

STONE HARBOR – The Stone Harbor Police Department wants to ensure that all homeowners are aware that offseason residential property checks are available.
Since the borough is a seasonal resort, the police department can routinely inspect the exterior of a property to make sure that it is secure.
This is a “free” service that the department offers to property owners, according to a release. Any homeowner interested in participating must complete a form and return it to the department.
The Police Department encourages all property owners who are interested in this service to return a completed form by Oct. 15, 2018.
Once the form is returned the Police Department is then aware that the property is vacant and will have up-to-date contact information in the event of an emergency.
IThose with questions regarding this service should e-mail shpd@police.stone-harbor.nj.us
