Simonsen to Chair Roy’s Campaign

VILLAS – Lower Township Councilman Roland Roy Jr. announced that Mayor Erik Simonsen would be his campaign chairman during the upcoming election. 
“I am honored and excited to work with Roland, and plan to be fully invested in the campaign as if it was my name on the ballot,” stated Simonsen in a release.  He continued, “We have accomplished a lot in Lower Township over the last several years, and Roland has been an active and valuable part of the team since he joined the council.  He has already demonstrated a commitment to community improvement, resident safety, and fiscal responsibility.”
“Erik has a great history to this ward and our community and is known to be a work horse during campaigns,” stated Roy.  “He is a welcome addition to the campaign; his energy, experience and proven leadership will serve the campaign well. I am excited to have him part of the team.”
