The 15th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade was a sea of green, and parade participants weren’t the only ones wearing green.
Many viewers along the parade route were also showing their Irish spirit.
A post-parade celebration at Kix/McNutley’s included awards for all of the parade honorees and a performance by the Cape Atlantic Police & Fire Irish Pipe Brigade.
They also had a complimentary buffet of some traditional Irish fare, including soda bread, corn beef and cabbage, and potatoes.
Warm weather brought out a crowd of parade viewers, including friends of Mary Metzler.
She has an annual Irish celebration for friends at her home on the 78th block of Landis Avenue, which had a green line painted on the street for the parade.

The Greater Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce sponsored its third Bagels at the Beach program at the Community Lodge on March 9.
The guest speaker was Public Works Director John Manganaro, who gave the members an update on improvements planned by his own department.
They include replacing the blue trash cans with new attractive ones with lids, new electronic water meters that will cut the cost of reading meters, and improving the area around Kennedy Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue.
Presently, the city’s water department is replacing water lines from 13th to 22nd Street of Landis Avenue in preparation for resurfacing of the roadway and shoulders by the county.

The Cape May County Association of Realtors, Inc. announced its 2005 Circle of Excellence Winners.
The awards are based on total sales or listings and a minimum of units either sold or listed.
The criteria are: Platinum, $25 M, 30 units; Gold, $15 M, 25 units; Silver, $7.5 M, 20 units; and Bronze, $3 M, 15 units.

Sea Isle City PTA Cabin Fever Fundraiser is Saturday at Kix-McNutleys 63rd Street at 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
There will be complimentary food and beverages, prizes, gifts, and live entertainment.

St Joseph’s announces the second annual Easter Egg Hunt, April 8, 1 p.m. for 4 years and under, 1:15 p.m. for 5 years old and up.
The Easter egg hunt will be held on the lawn next to the rectory. Bring your own basket.

The Cape May County Library is delighted to announce the following programs being held this spring at the Sea Isle City Library located at 125 John F. Kennedy Blvd.
Story Time for pre-school children, infants through five years old, is held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, April 4 and 11, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
Story Time encourages a love of reading and enables social interaction with other children.
Evening Story Time is held on Wednesday, April 5 and May 3 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Evening Story Time is designed for children ages three through eight, but all family members are welcome.
Math Club for children from kindergarten through eighth grade is held from 6-7 p.m. on March 29, April 26 and May 31.
Registration is not required.
Math Club provides children the opportunity to understand and appreciate the many aspects of mathematics.
Children will use number puzzles, problem solving, tangram games, logic puzzles, and math games to further develop math skills.
