COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a car and its driver involved in the H2oi chaos Sept. 24.
The male in the dark hooded sweatshirt allegedly committed an aggravated assault on a police officer. His car was involved in a crash with a golf cart.
Police say the car should be easy to find, pointing out a “distinct aftermarket tail light package” and suggesting that it should have some serious damage to the front passenger side quarter panel.
Members of the public who have a tip are encouraged to call the prosecutor’s office at 609-465-1135 or the Wildwood police at 609-522-0222. They can also submit it anonymously online at cmcpo.tips.
Any charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
