Wilson Seeks Reelection to Ocean City’s 3rd Ward Council Seat

By Press Release

OCEAN CITY – Tony Wilson is seeking his third term representing Ocean City’s 3rd Ward on City Council.

According to a release, Wilson is serving as vice president of council. At a March 10 press coference, he was to outline an unprecedented track record of success in dredging back bays, replacing bulkheads, repaving roads and alleys, improving drainage, replenishing beaches, reconstructing the boardwalk, and more.

He asks voters to help keep the momentum going over the next four years — including protecting an entire city block in the 3rd Ward adjacent to the Ocean City Community Center from development and adding pumping station projects to help in flood-prone neighborhoods.

Working with the current City Council, Wilson has helped achieve major capital improvements while maintaining a tax rate a fraction of that in towns across the bridge.
