Karen Mitchell Named President of  Upper Township Republican Organization

UPPER TOWNSHIP – The Upper Township Republican Organization (UTRO) has named Karen Mitchell of Strathmere, New Jersey, as president.
“As the new president of the Upper Township Republican Organization, I look forward to supporting Republican candidates and ensuring that the UTRO prospers along the way.” 
With a passion for community involvement, Karen serves as President of the Strathmere Fire Commission and is currently the Fire Company’s landscaper. She is also Chairman of Strathmere’s 4th of July Parade and a Cape May County poll worker. Karen is a member of the Cape May County Republican Committee and serves as a member of the SFEC, SIA and Upper Township Zoning Board.
Karen Mitchell is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College with a BA in Business as well as Southern Illinois University with a Masters in Higher Education Administration. She is well-versed in the real estate business and, prior to retirement, was a Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA), a certified New Jersey tax assessor, Independent Fee Appraiser (IFA), and owner and operator of a real estate appraisal company.
The Upper Township Republic Organization is dedicated to supporting Republican candidates and bettering the Upper Township community, and encourages the acceptance of new ideas and new members.
The UTRO will hold its next meeting Feb. 7. The meeting will be held at Dino’s Seaville Diner located on 31 Route 50, Ocean View, New Jersey at 6:30 p.m.
