Matt Buesing Tapped as County ‘Rudy 2008 Chairman’

By Herald Staff

COURT HOUSE — Matthew Buesing, former Middle Township Regular Republican Organization leader and retired treasurer of the Cape May County Regular Republican Organization, has been appointed by David I. Von Savage, chairman of the Cape May County Regular Republican Organization, to serve as the Rudy Giuliani 2008 for President general campaign chairman in Cape May County.
In a release, Von Savage stated, “Matt Buesing is very capable and will work tirelessly to ensure Rudy Giuliani becomes the 44th President of the United States. He has the organizational skills and temperament necessary to successfully lead.
“Matt is highly motivated because he believes Rudy is the one Republican candidate who can win this November by carrying New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, traditional ‘blue states’ that have not been ‘red states’ since the 1980 and 1984 Reagan landslides.”
“Matt is organizing groups of Rudy volunteers throughout the county. Their first mission is to help in New Hampshire. That Primary election will be held on January 9, 2008,” stated Von Savage.
“I am honored to serve and have taken this to heart. The stakes could not be any higher given the challenges ahead. A Rudy Giuliani victory will ensure safety and prosperity for America,” stated Buesing,
Following New Hampshire, the Florida Primary on Jan. 29, 2008 will influence the outcome of the “Power Ball Primary” in the Garden State on Feb. 5th.
On that day, New Jersey and 20 other states will cast votes for 1,038 delegates out of 2,518 total nationwide.
Buesing resides in Middle Township and is a former member of its board of education.
