Cape May County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #7 Membership has endorsed Richard Harron for the position of Cape May County Sheriff in the upcoming 2017 election. Our Lodge represents both working and retired officers from various law enforcement agencies throughout Cape May County.
As a former member of our Lodge, Mr. Harron had a long and distinguished career in the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department, spanning 25 years before his retirement. During his tenure, he rose from the rank of Officer to his final rank and title as Cape May County Correctional Center Warden. Mr. Harron’s law enforcement background, his past experience and vast operational knowledge of the Sheriff’s Department more than qualifies him as the most appropriate candidate for the position of Sheriff. Emergency Management, Hostage Negotiations, Police Management, Correctional Center Accreditation and Certified Public Manager are just a few of his notable certifications. These qualifications, coupled with his vision for a more progressive and pro-active involvement in the community and all levels of police agencies, will serve to make the Sheriff’s Department the premier County Law Enforcement Agency.
We urge all voters in Cape May County to vote for Richard Harron for Cape May County Sheriff on Nov. 7, 2017.
