League of Women Voters to Host 1st Legislative District Senate and Assembly Candidates Forum

COURT HOUSE – The League of Women Voters of Cape May County is sponsoring the 2019 Senate and Assembly First Legislative District Candidates Forum Oct. 28, at the Old Historic Court House Building, North Main Street, Court House. The event will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. 
According to a release, all six candidates running for office have agreed to participate and will attend.
The Senate candidates are Robert “Bob” Andrzejczak (Democrat, appointed) and challenger Mike Testa (Republican).
The Assembly candidates are R. Bruce Land (Democrat,incumbent) and Matthew W. Milam (Democrat, appointed) and challengers Antwan McClellan (Republican) and Erik Simonsen (Republican).
The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates in addition to those prepared by the League.
Questions for consideration may be emailed to the League of Women Voters website at capemay.nj.lwvnet.org under the tab “Contact Us” and addressed to Corinne Robinson, Voter Services Director.
Questions should be submitted no later than Oct. 25.
The event is open to the public and seating will begin at 6:30 p.m.
