Polish your surf fishing skills at Lower Library

By On Deck Staff

All ages are welcome to “Surf Fishing,” presented at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 14 at the Lower Cape Branch Library, 2600 Bayshore Rd., Villas.
If you don’t have a boat, and want the possibility of catching some really large fish, local angler Bob Jackson suggests surf fishing.
The cost for surf fishing is relatively cheap, and fresh fish on the table are hard to beat! Jackson will answers questions you thought were too stupid to ask.
Jackson will explain when to fish, bait and rigs to use, where in the surf you want to fish, fishing in the rain, how far to cast to catch fish, and much more.
Jackson has surf fished local beaches, jetties, and sod banks in Cape May County for more than 44 years.
As a fishing guide, tackle shop owner, and enthusiastic angler, he offers hands-on practical fishing instruction for the beginner, as well as the seasoned angler who just wants to know more.
