SWAINTON — A 44-year-old woman from Darby, Pa. who barricaded herself in a bathroom with a knife was removed from a campsite at Green Holly Campground here July 6, Middle Township police said.
Police said the woman was intoxicated when they arrived on the scene and was barricaded in the bathroom with a knife for approximately two hours. The Middle Township Negotiation Team was called and attempted to talk the woman out of the trailer. Officers finally entered and took the woman into protective custody.
She was taken to Cape Regional Medical Center to be evaluated by Cape Counseling, police said.
