COURT HOUSE – Middle Township Police have re-issued a sketch of a person of interest in the Mark Himebaugh case. The last sighting of Himebaugh was when he was 11-years-old. His mother reported him missing Nov. 25, 1991, when he did not return to his home in Del Haven.
The sketch, some say, resembles Thomas Butcavage Jr., a sex offender who is currently in prison for numerous sex crimes in Chester County.
Police Chief Christopher Leusner confirmed Butcavage is “a person of interest, along with others.”
Anyone with knowledge of having seen Butcavage (or anyone else resembling the individual in the sketch) in the late 1980s or early 1990s are asked to contact Middle Township Police at (609) 465-8700.
