DENNIS TOWNSHIP – The Cape May County Chapter of the American Red Cross is asking residents to donate blood Feb. 24 at the Dennis Township Community Drive at Dennis Township Primary School, 601 Hagan Ave. from 1 to 7 p.m. or on the 27th at Home Depot from 1-7 p.m. 
 To make an immediate appointment for an American Red Cross blood drive, call 1-800- 448-3543. 
PLEASANTVILLE – Literacy Volunteers is now accepting registration for their upcoming spring Adult Literacy Tutor Training Workshop to be held at Shore Memorial Hospital’s Conference Center on West New York Avenue in Somers Point.
 Orientation will be on March 2, 7-8:30 p.m. and the workshop (a total of 15 hours) will be the following five Thursday nights (March 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6), 6:30-9:30 p.m., also at Shore Memorial Hospital’s Conference Center.
