COURT HOUSE – Eugene J. Kalsky’s Ocean City oceanfront home is safe from sheriff’s sale for the present by order of Superior Court Judge J. Christopher Gibson July 17.
Kalsky’s story dealt with a lawsuit brought by an Arkansas firm after it received a facsimile from Kalsky’s pipe firm, based in New Jersey, that an Arkansas court found him liable for sending and awarded $12.5 million under a dated federal telecommunication statute.
Gibson stayed the matter, conveyed by Kalsky’s lawyer Ted M. Rosenberg of Moorestown.
Gibson ordered the sheriff’s sale stayed pending resolution of the appeal and motions in Superior Court, Law Division in Burlington County.
Kalsky’s deed to the Ocean City property was ordered held in escrow pending the outcome of the case.
