Jack Trombetta, retired Lower Township detective, will appear Friday, Oct. 24 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 123 Fishing Creek Road, Villas, to discuss his recently published novel, “Material Evidence.” He will give a talk, beginning at 7 p.m., and then discuss the book, and what led him to pen the novel.
“Material Evidence” is a novel that spotlights two ancient detectives—Marcus and Anthony. They have been given the hottest case in the land by Pontius Pilate, Roman governor of Judea.
Their case: locate the missing body of one Jesus of Nazareth, a recently crucified prisoner, and bring to justice the persons responsible for the robbery of the grave.
Those who attend the Oct. 24 talk will find out what led Trombetta to write this highly historical novel, and how his on search changed his life.
The author will also sign copies of his book, which will be available for purchase.
