JCC to hold Great Ducky Race August 3

By On Deck Staff

The hottest race of the summer won’t feature bikes, or marathoners. It will
feature little rubber ducks, racing for the Milton and Betty Katz JCC’s
Children’s Scholarship Fund and the Shirley Mae Foundation. The JCC’s First
Annual Great Ducky Race, sponsored by Junior’s Doughnuts & Dogs, will take
place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 3, starting at the Washington Avenue
Pier and ending at Junior’s.
Rubber duckies are just $5 each, and come with an adoption certificate
and a souvenir ducky to take home. Each ducky will be numbered to correspond
to the number on the adoption certificate. First duckies to cross the finish
line are the winners.
Duck’s can be purchased at the JCC front desk or at 9 a.m. on race day at the
Washington Avenue pier.
For more information, contact the JCC at 609-822-1167 Ext. 117 OR 121.
