Governor Orders State Parks Closed

TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy announced, in a release, that effective at 8 p.m. April 7 all state parks and forests will be closed until further notice.
Cape May County has three state parks: Belleplain State Forest, Cape May Point State Park and Corson’s Inlet State Park.
This full closure includes all park lots, grounds, facilities, trails, playgrounds, according to the release.
All park gates and entrances are closed. Trail use is prohibited. Save yourself the trip and stay home to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the state said in a statement.
New Jersey State Park Police will patrol park areas to ensure the public is following the Governor’s directives to stay home to help limit the spread of COVID-19, the release continued.
