WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police received a report from Code Enforcement Officer Jim Grauel of a domestic violence altercation at a local residence, Fri., Oct. 14.
When officers arrived on the scene, Grauel was standing with the suspect on Atlantic Avenue identified as Frank Alfe.
After an on scene investigation, it was determined that Alfe had assaulted a female, causing visible injury.
Alfe then attempted to leave the area but stopped when Grauel advised him that he had called the police.
Alfe was arrested without incident and was subsequently charged with Simple Assault. Alfe was later released after posting bail of $2,500 set by Judge Louis Belasco Jr.
