WILDWOOD CREST – “Thank you all for coming,” said Mayor Carl Groon as the six-minute meeting closed June 8.
With one ordinance and one resolution, Borough Commission agreed unanimously upon passage of both.
Because of the recent controversy surrounding the proposed dog park, the June 8 meeting held a quiet tone.
A “Code of Ordinances” was introduced by title and, under resolutions, a special events permit was granted to Shannon Wagner for “the purpose of a wedding at Centennial Park.”
During public comment, one resident suggested that to avoid potential problems a bike rack should be installed at the bottom of the bike path. According to the resident, cyclists leave bikes to “ride the tram” to the amusement rides in Wildwood.
With no other business, commissioners adjourned.
