West Wildwood Clerk Back to Work

By Lauren Suit

WEST WILDWOOD — Superior Court Judge Valerie Armstrong ruled that West Wildwood Clerk Dorothy Tomlin be restored all of her powers as of the afternoon of Nov. 2.
Tomlin, who has worked for the borough for 40 years, was suspended with full pay in August. However that decision was reversed by Susan Jacobucci, director of the state Division of Local Government Services, on Sept. 25 and on Oct. 14 the DCA’s local finance board upheld that decision.
The borough, however, failed to reinstate Tomlin, and that led to the Nov. 2 court hearing before Armstrong.
