STONE HARBOR – At its June 4 meeting, Stone Harbor Borough Council introduced an ordinance that would ban bicycle riding, skateboarding, roller skating or use of “any other means of conveyance…upon the surface of the area located at the Borough Promenade” between 80th and 83rd streets on First Avenue. The ordinance prohibits such activity “at any time.”
The ordinance will be scheduled for a public hearing, second reading, and possible adoption at council’s July 17 meeting.
