WILDWOOD – U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-2nd) stated the following regarding the House Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Energy and Mineral Resources oversight hearing titled, “Examining the Benefits and Potential Challenges for New Jersey’s Growing Offshore Wind Industry.”
“The hearing today (Sept. 16) in Wildwood was powerful and productive. Offshore wind is a growing industry that I support, but South Jersey’s economy is dependent on fishing, and we must examine the effects that offshore wind would have on this industry.
“That is why I fought so hard to bring this hearing to the district. The turn-out was nothing short of incredible. The hearing was standing-room-only, and most of the audience were local fishermen and those in the fishing industry.
“I want to thank Chairman Lowenthal and the House Committee on Natural Resources for bringing this important hearing to South Jersey.”
Wildwood – So Liberals here on spout off, here's a REAL question for you.
Do you think it's appropriate for BLM to call for "Burning down the city" and "Black Vigilantes" because…
