WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-2nd) spoke on the House floor to honor John Lynch of Wildwood.
According to an April 2 release, Lynch is an outstanding member of the South Jersey community as he has made it his life’s work to enrich the lives of the youth in Wildwood and beyond by creating learning experiences in schools, and helping children with life-threatening illnesses.
He established the Lunch with Lynch Foundation to help facilitate educational opportunities and learning experiences for the children of Wildwoods as well as the Thumbs up 4 Kindness organization to change the world one random act of kindness at a time.
For his outstanding community service, Lynch has received the Presidential Community Service Lifetime achievement award after 30 years and over 4,000 hours serving his community.
“Thank you for what you do, Mr. Lynch. South Jersey is honored to have you,” Van Drew stated while addressing the floor of the House of Representatives.
“Let’s take a page out of John’s book and try to be a little kinder to one another.”
