MILLVILLE— State Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1st) met with many of Woodbine’s Carol Lynn Resorts residents who were worried about being evicted from their homes on Nov. 1. Residents on Thursday, July 30 met with the Senator in his Millville office. The meeting was held there due to the large amount of people that said they would attend.
Van Drew, who had been advocating for the residents, many which are senior citizens and disabled, announced the state Department of Community Affairs will grandfather existing park-model trailers at the state’s campgrounds, according to a report by the Press of Atlantic City.
Park owner Carol Saduk was quoted in the report as saying “if Van Drew is correct, the state’s response satisfies her concerns about complying with the law and her tenants may stay through the winter.”
