PETERSBURG – At its April 6 meeting, Upper Township Committee passed a resolution regarding prohibition of online short and transient term rentals.
This action, similar to those passed by other shore municipalities, is an attempt to curb any influx of non-residents and non-property owners seeking “safer” communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Upper’s new ban will be enforced by State Police and adjudicated by municipal court, under disorderly person citations for violations.
