PETERSBURG – Upper Township governing body members discussed planning board recommendations for land use and non-land use provisions at their Sept. 26 meeting.
Municipal Engineer Paul Dietrich noted that “areas of concern that are still being worked out concern short-term rental provisions which are now subject to completion of legal review expected in the near future.”
“Other issues are noise and lighting nuisance provisions that still need finalizing. Matters not addressed yet are electric supply locations for electric vehicles and stormwater control in flood-prone areas, particularly in Strathmere,” Dietrich continued. “Other provisions that are being approved by the planning board are favorable to committee concerns discussed at prior meetings.”
