Two Charged in Middle Twp Car Burglaries

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP– On November 6, 2009 Middle Twp Police arrested Vincent Mosher age 18, and James Shaw Jr age 24 both from the Rio Grande area for multiple car burglaries.
Cpl Francis Fiore was on patrol in Rio Grande area. At about 4:30 am he observed two suspicious males by the Cape May County Garden Market. By the time Cpl Fiore turned around to speak with them, they had made it into the Rio Grande WaWa. During Cpl Fiore’s investigation he found that the two had stashed stolen items in the bathroom trash can.
The two were arrested for Burglary and theft. They were incarcerated in Cape May County Correctional Center with $5,000 bail each. Multiple cars were burglarized in the Shannon Oaks area of Rio Grande.
The Police Department has recovered stolen property from unknown victims. If your vehicle was burglarized and items were taken contact the Police Department to make a report.
